Rep. Weiner Admits Lewd Twitter Pic 'Maybe...Started Out Being a Photograph of Mine
June 01, 2011
"The photo doesn't look familiar to me."
Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) said Wednesday night that a lewd photo that was published on his Twitter account "could have" been of him but said it "doesn't look familiar."Appearing on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Show on Wednesday, Weiner gave his most detailed explanation to date about the alleged photo hacking, but still left a number of unanswered questions.
Maddow asked Weiner directly if it was "possible that this started out as a private photo of yours that ended up in the public domain accidentally or at least in a way that you didn't intend?"
Said Weiner: "Well, it could be or it could have been a photograph that was that's taken out of context or manipulated or changed in some way."
