President Pataki?' The Former NY Gov Is Sounding A Lot Like A Candidate

"I really am seriously thinking about running."

Is the GOP waiting for TX Gov Rick Perry or NJ Gov Chris Christie to jump into the race for the White House? Maybe, but there is another candidate with significant gubernatorial experience who may be ready to "get in the game" - Former NY Governor George Pataki.

Based on the latest polling data, the top spot on the 2012 GOP ticket is still up for grabs. Mitt Romney may have the lead, but he has yet to garner more than 30% of the support:

Calling in from New Hampshire, Mr. Pataki was a guest on the Jeff Katz Radio Show out of Boston this morning, talking about the Debt ceiling and his own plan called "No American Debt."  Pataki also was clear on how he views of President Obama:

"I think he's fundamentally an ideologue who believes in massive government spending increases and believes in redistribution."
