Is the GOP waiting for TX Gov Rick Perry or NJ Gov Chris Christie to jump into the race for the White House? Maybe, but there is another candidate with significant gubernatorial experience who may be ready to "get in the game" - Former NY Governor George Pataki.

An often-whispered name that does not appear on this list is former New York Gov. George Pataki. After serving twelve years as governor of New York, Pataki has apparently been toying with the idea of tossing his hat into the ring.
Calling in from New Hampshire, Mr. Pataki was a guest on the Jeff Katz Radio Show out of Boston this morning, talking about the Debt ceiling and his own plan called "No American Debt." Pataki also was clear on how he views of President Obama:
"I think he's fundamentally an ideologue who believes in massive government spending increases and believes in redistribution."
