Ladies: Want highlights like Sarah Palin? Can't have 'em. "Nobody gets her formula,” says Jessica Steele, owner of Wasilla's Beehive Beauty Shop, in the first episode of a new reality show centered on the salon. Steele is credited with giving Palin the famous up-do that we all came to know and love back in 2008, according to the Atlantic.
The style was chosen by Palin for more practical reasons, according to Steele. Palin didn't want her earrings to "get stuck in her hair when people give her hugs and stuff," says Steele.
The 30 minute show, titled "Big Hair Alaska" debuts on TLC at 10pm Tuesday night.
