Crazy Vid: Bench-Clearing Brawl In Texas High School Football Game

Last night in Houston two football teams went at it on the field with shoves, punches, and takedowns in a bench clearing brawl.

The Lamar vs. Chavez high school matchup was already tense by the second half, as the teams were playing very physical ball. But when a Lamar player put a late hit on Chavez quarterback, Demun Mercer, while he was running out of bounds, the QB's retaliation against Lamar sparked a total melee that brought both teams into a massive pile-on of angry players.

Even players out of uniform got in on the fighting, as coaches and officials on both sides scrambled to separate the teams.

You can hear the announcer saying 'There's punches being thrown, there should be multiple ejections.'

In the end, Lamar won 42-16.
