Because I said so' -- The new protest mantra of the left

Here's one of the more intriguing videos I've come across this week from the ongoing "Occupy Wall Street" protests. Via NRO's Charles C. W. Cooke, this young protester demands that college education should be free for all because... well, because that's just what he wants.

The new liberal philosophy on redistributing wealth: Throw me a friggin' bone.

Is the left so desperate these days that "because I said so" has actually become a viable protest mantra? Cooke perfectly sums up this modern liberal philosophy:

[This protester] has perfectly articulated a sentiment I have heard repeatedly but was struggling to distill with anything like the clarity he achieved: That being that if there is something someone doesn’t like about their life, someone else somewhere should change it. And if they don’t, well then, the American Dream is dead.
