There's a man in New Hampshire that decides who to vote for based on who gets along best with his pet goat Izak. Seriously.
Bill Higgins, the goat's owner, said he started taking his Izak to campaign events during the 2000 election. "I watch his body language and his temperament toward [the candidates]," he said. "If he walks up to them and they pat him and everything and there's no hair up on the back, that's a good sign. If they back away or whatever, forget it."
Higgins said so far, Newt Gingrich and Jon Huntsman have gotten along best with Izak.
One shudders imagining Mitt Romney's interaction with a goat.
