French Connection': Gingrich Attack Ad Compares Romney to John Kerry

A new hard-hitting attack ad from the Newt Gingrich campaign titled "The French Connection" paints Republican front-runner Mitt Romney and 2004 Democratic nominee John Kerry with the same "Massachusetts moderate" brush.

Calling Romney a "Massachusetts moderate" who will "say anything to win," the ad juxtaposes clips of both Romney speaking French and Kerry windsurfing.

The ad's title is a throwback to Karl Rove's 2004 statement that Kerry "looks French." Watch below:
