Eastwood's favorite president: Truman

In a recent ambush chat with TMZ, Clint Eastwood said his favorite president (in his lifetime) is Harry Truman.

What was Truman's greatest accomplishment as president? "He got mad at the people who bum wrapped his daughter," Eastwood said, referring to the time Truman famously threatened a Washington Post writer who was critical of Truman's daughter's musical talents.

In a letter to Paul Hume, the critic, Truman wrote: "Some day I hope to meet you. When that happens you'll need a new nose, a lot of beefsteak for black eyes, and perhaps a supporter below!"
