Get on the Ground!': Chaos Erupts as Gunfire Rings Out While News Crew Reports on Different Shooting

There's being at the right place at the right time. There's being at the wrong place at the wrong time. And then there's being at the right place at the wrong time. This is the latter.

A local news crew in Louisville, KY, captured a chaotic scene on camera Thursday afternoon. While reporting on a homicide in the area, a WAVE-TV reporter and videographer got caught in a hale of gunfire as an attacker opened fire on the crowd. You can hear the eerie screams as gunfire rings out, the reporter yell "shi*," and a police officer tells people to "get on the ground."

“They’re shooting out here. They’re shooting right where we are,” reporter Jaimie Weiss can be heard saying. “Everybody’s on the ground. It’s not safe for us to get out”:

According to a later report from the same journalist, the second shooting involved two women who were on the scene because of the earlier shooting. One woman opened fire on the other, killing her. Police then shot the woman assailant, eventually killing her/
