As of now, Abdel-Moneim Abolfotoh, formerly of the Muslim Brotherhood and an alleged '9/11 truther,' leads polling among the field of 13 candidates. Abolfotoh left the Brotherhood last year and has been described as a "liberal Islamist" but should western observers not be alarmed by this and warnings from Egypt's former Vice President Omar Suleiman that a military coup is likely against the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood and its future "Iranian-style revolutionary guard"?
