"He's mildly amazing."
--Newt Gingrich commenting yesterday on Donald Trump before a joint appearance in Las Vegas, explaining how Trump has managed to make the Republican primary "more exciting." It's possible "mildly amazing" is supposed to be a compliment from Newt but it's not a very strong one. It sounds more like a type of bland salsa.
