Just when you thought you'd never have to hear about the most boring thing (campaign funds) and the sexiest thing (...sex) in the same story again, here comes Mr. Wide Stance.
Former Republican U.S. Sen. Larry Craig of Idaho was sued Monday by federal election regulators who contend he misused some $217,000 in campaign funds for his legal defense after his arrest in a 2007 airport bathroom sex sting.
We thought the whole campaign-funds-to-cover-a-sex-scandal thing was over when John Edwards, let's say, got off last month. But here we are.
