Fred Karger 'could have been the gay Herman Cain!

Fred Karger is a gay Republican and he ran for president. He was on the ballot in California, at least.

In an interview he told the Los Angeles Times that his real goal wasn't to actually win the presidency but to land a spot in one of the Republican debates. He thought it would inspire younger gay people. And...

“Anything could have happened,” he said, laughing. “I could have been the gay Herman Cain!”

He paused.

“Without all the groping.”
