News

What do Barack Obama and Charlie Brown have in common?  Unfortunately, the same level of success.

American Crossroads, a Republican group associated with Karl Rove, released an entertaining new video to reflect on this Friday. The Charlie Brown-themed video is a derived from Obama’s speech yesterday in Cleveland.  The 90-second creation not only provides a good laugh for Republicans, but may also reflect what the general public is now thinking.

Some of the messages include: “Blame Bush...I Can’t Get You A Job, So Get Mad At Someone Else...I need another $5 trillion.”  The video continually replays Obama saying, “Lack of big ideas,” making a point that is much greater than the jokes behind it.  As the funny translations come to end, viewers are provided with the message, “After 4 years of the same excuses, eventually they just sound like this.” The President’s voice is overlaid into the well known voice of Charlie Brown's parents, “wah-wah-wah."

The same organization released an equally unabashed video last week taking aim at Florida congresswoman and DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz:
