Ha: Obama's unpaid bill reeks of irony

Yesterday, I reported how President Obama left a Capitol Hill BBQ joint without paying his bill. On this morning's radio program, Pat reminded us that this kind of behavior is exactly what the president was complaining about earlier this week.

In remarks delivered Wednesday, President Obama used a steak dinner analogy to hit back at detractors who criticize him for racking up the national debt.  Arguing that he inherited the massive debt from the beginning, he says Republicans ordered a nice steak dinner and stuck Obama with the tab just as he was sitting down to eat.

The Bush administration may have left him with a steak, but it was Obama who added bottle after bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon to the tab to wash it down.
