New Obama Ad: 'It's a Scary Time to Be a Woman

"I've never felt this way before."

The Obama campaign is bringing back the "war on women" theme in a big way with a new ad declaring that now is a "scary time to be a woman."

From the Washington Post:

“I’ve never felt this way before, but it’s a scary time to be a woman,” says 30-something “Jenni.” “Mitt Romney is just so out of touch.”

A female narrator chimes in: “Romney opposes requiring insurance coverage for contraception and Romney supports overturning Roe vs. Wade. Romney backed a bill that outlawed all abortion, even in cases of rape and incest.”

Jenni adds, “There’s so much to do. We need to attack our problems, not a woman’s choice.”

The ad's claims are similar to those in another spot earlier this month about Romney's abortion stance, which his campaign labeled "viciously negative and false." Romney has said he supports abortion in cases of rape and incest, though believes Roe v. Wade should be overturned and opposes mandatory contraception coverage.

The ad was not available on YouTube as of Thursday afternoon, but is running in Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, Nevada and Ohio, according to the Post, and will begin airing in Colorado on Monday.
