After Watergate, there was "KoreaGate," the subject of this week's "Real History" segment on "Real News From The Blaze."
President Richard Nixon had decided that he wanted to pull troops out of South Korea. It had large domestic support, but South Korea was not so keen to the idea. The administration then concocted a fairly intricate plan to reverse this decision which involved bribing 10 Democratic members of Congress. But that’s not all it involved, it also involved investing in American universities to teach South Korean culture.
