Everyone knows the phrase, "It'll be a cold day in Hell before that happens." But what if your weather forecast actually involved the ruler of Hell himself?
That's what the viewers of Nashville affiliate WSMV-TV claim to have witnessed in tonight's broadcast, which appropriately enough forecast truly hellish weather in the form of severe thunderstorms. In fact, so bad was the weather that a demonic face appeared before the weather report even came on, leering at the viewers.
No, really. We're not kidding about that part. See the frozen image of the face below, followed by video of the incident captured by Youtuber PerlAddict:
So just what the Hell happened (pun intentional)? No one has quite worked it out. Some people over at Gawker have speculated that the face was the result of someone mistakenly airing a clip from a preview for the NBC supernatural procedural "Grimm" by accident during the start of the weather report. Others counter that no monster that looks like this actually appears in the show. There's almost certainly a logical explanation, but either way, it's something you don't see every day.
