The second Massachusetts Senate debate between Sen. Scott Brown and Harvard professor Elizabeth Warren was both contentious at times and down right testy at others.
At one point, Warren accused Brown of voting in "lockstep" against bills that she thought were important. Brown was then given a chance to respond to her allegations.
"She's obviously misstating the facts. These were rejected by both Democrats and Republicans, professor," he began. "If we are going to comment on my record I would at least have you refer--"
As Warren tried to interrupt him during his answer, a frustrated Brown quipped: "Excuse me, I'm not a student in your classroom, please let me respond."
The crowd erupted in a loud "ohhh."

In his first debate with Warren, Brown slammed the Ivy League professor for "checking the box," referring to her Native American heritage claims that she is now routinely mocked for after they turned out to be false. Critics argue that by claiming minority status, Warren unfairly got ahead when she applied for positions at Harvard and University of Pennsylvania. However, Warren says her employers weren't aware of her heritage claims until long after she was hired.
