QVC Shopping Network Anchor Passes Out During Live Broadcast, Co-Host Continues With Sales Pitch

QVC shopping network guest host Cassie Slane gave viewers a scare yesterday when she fainted during a live broadcast of "Sundays with Carolyn & Dan."

But that's not the story.

The story is that even after clutching at her chest and slumping over, co-host Dan Hughes continues undeterred with the sales pitch:

Thankfully, as Gawker’s Neetzan Zimmerman notes, Slane is doing "fine" and she even posted to her Facebook that she is "feeling alot [sic] better today."

Moreover, a statement from QVC VP Paul Capelli assures us that all is well: "During a live presentation on Sunday, October 7, QVC on-air guest Cassie Slane had a brief fainting spell. We are pleased to report that she is feeling fine now."
