One of the issues that came up during the 2012 presidential campaign was America’s (and more specifically our president’s) relationship with Israel and how our election would impact US/Israel relations.
This Tuesday, Israelis will go to the polls to elect their new government -- the outcome of which will have similar ramifications on stability in the Middle East and the future of its ties with the U.S.
Benjamin Netanyahu and his right-leaning Likud party are expected to maintain leadership, but anything could happen as the region faces tumultuous times.
