Hungry for Some 'Hunger Games'?: See the First Trailer Released for the Second Film

"She has to be eliminated."

The second film in the popular book trilogy "The Hunger Games" doesn't come out until November, but fans gearing up for "Catching Fire" can now get their fix with the newly released teaser trailer.

The trailer, staring Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, premiered during Sunday's MTV Movie Awards and was introduced by co-star Liam Hemsworth.

In the trailer, the victors of the 74th Hunger Games -- Katniss Everdeen (played by Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (played by Josh Hutcherson) -- are introduced as a voiceover of Panem's President Coriolanus Snow says "she has become a beacon of hope for them."

"She has to be eliminated," he continues, referring to Katinss.

The trailer goes on to depict the unrest in the dystopian society that has resulted since the controversial winning of the games by two people.

"People are looking to you, Katniss," Gale Hawthorne (played by Hemsworth), Katniss' best from from District 13, says in the trailer. "You've given them an opportunity. They just have to be brave enough to take it."

The first film based on the series by Susanne Collins, which premiered in March 2012, grossed $155 million in its opening weekend.
