Former president Bill Clinton joined Twitter in early April after Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert took the liberty of starting an account for him. The username for Clinton at the time was @PrezBillyJeff. It has since been changed to @BillClinton and has sent a total of four tweets, all of which reference Colbert.
Though Clinton is "following" eight accounts, only two are actual people. One is his daughter Chelsea. The other is Colbert. The remaining six accounts are for nonprofits, all of which are associated with the Clinton Foundation.
@stephenathome Just got a call from Chelsea. Ready to start Twitter lessons tonight.
