Road Rage? Angry Confrontaton Ends in Race Car Dragging Man Along Track

Spinouts and crashes -- even small explosions -- might be expected in a stock car race. But a man being dragged and slammed into a wall is a bit more of a shocker.

Perhaps even more shocking is that the man willingly jumped onto the car, allowing himself to be dragged.

The incident occurred Saturday at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, when Mike Robertson jumped on Derek Stoltz's car after the latter had been knocked out of the race by the former, the Winston-Salem Journal reported.

The paper noted Robertson being taken out after the second turn, but during the post-race laps Robertson clung to the side of Stoltz' car and was taken for a 30-yard ride before he slammed into the wall.

He seemed uninjured, getting up and trying to run after Stoltz again. Security prevented him from getting much farther.
