From the Wall Street Journal: "President Obama's decision to cancel his one-on-one meeting with Vladimir Putin in Moscow next month is the right decision—politically, the only one he could make and not look like a patsy."
And from the Washington Post: "[T]here aren’t any agreements worth celebrating right now with Russia. The relationship is clouded by disputes and conflict. So it makes sense that President Obama has decided against a summit meeting with President Vladimir Putin."
The New York Times on Tuesday was the first to call on Obama to cancel the summit: "President Obama is expected to decide soon whether to proceed with a planned summit meeting with President Vladimir Putin of Russia in Moscow next month. At the moment, the answer should be no."
