The Scariest Part of This Video Isn't the Very Scary First Part

Imagine you're traveling down the road during a rain storm. As you  round a corner, you notice there's a cliff on your right side. All the sudden, the sky starts raining rocks and dirt instead of rain drops as a mudslide crashes over the cliff and down onto the road. But what if that's not even the scariest part?

Think about this: What if just as you think you're clear of the debris after swerving, you notice the mudslide brought with it a giant boulder triple the size of your car, and it's headed right for you? That's apparently what happened recently in Taiwan:

Luckily, nothing happened.

The New York Daily News says it happened near Keelung and was the result of heavy rains from Tropical Storm Kong-Rey.

Of course as is the case with many viral videos, Mashable wonders if it could have been staged. Still, Taiwan is experiencing  heavy rains raising the likelihood that it is genuine. And the Huffington Post says the Taipei Times has reported on the incident.

Kind of gives new meaning to "in between a rock and a hard place."
