Individuals at the Pepsi Center Friday night got a scare when a seemingly lifeless version of the Denver Nuggets' official mascot was lowered onto the game floor.

The mascot, named Rocky, apparently had the wind knocked out of him and passed out while being lowered from the rafters during Friday night's home opener, according to WJLA-TV.
When he reached the floor, Rocky collapsed to the horror of thousands of spectating fans. The spotlight was quickly turned off and the mascot was checked by doctors.
Denver ultimately lost to the Portland Trail Blazers 113-98.
