Surveillance Video Captures Moment Woman Becomes Engulfed in Flames at Gas Station — Now Her Husband Has Been Arrested

A husband was arrested Saturday and will face a reckless conduct charge after a flick of his lighter last month near a gas pump ignited a fire that ultimately engulfed his wife.

The October incident, caught on surveillance video, shows Austin Dawkins 37, standing with his wife, Jessica Dawkins, 30, as they appear to pump gas into their vehicle.

Then, after the flick of Austin's lighter, a fire erupts that ultimately sets his wife Jessica ablaze.

After an investigation, the state insurance commissioner and fire investigators issued an arrest warrant for reckless conduct charges, according to WAGA-TV.
