Stunning dash camera video obtained by a Michigan news outlet captured the moment a state trooper and the suspect he was pursuing fell off a highway overpass earlier this month.
Troopers had engaged in a car chase with the man on Nov. 1 before they were able to stop his vehicle with "stop sticks," a police statement said, according to MLive.com.
However, after the chase had come to a stop, dash camera video shows the man exiting his vehicle and climbing over the guardrail. When the trooper attempted to grab him, both fell "25 to 35 feet" off the highway overpass.

According to MLive.com, both the trooper and suspect were injured and taken to the hospital.
The officer was reportedly released last week and is on paid leave recovering at his home.
This article has been updated after incorrectly saying the incident occurred in Minnesota when it actually took place in Michigan.
