House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday morning the White House could soon make a major announcement regarding the disastrous implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

"By the time we get out of here we might have a presidential announcement," on Obamacare, Pelosi said at an event in Washington, D.C., Slate reporter Dave Weigel tweeted.

Asked how lawmakers should address the error-riddled healthcare.gov website and the millions of private health insurance cancellation notices that have since gone out, Pelosi reportedly said, "I would rather it be an administrative fix."

That way, she said, the fixes could be done without  "accompanying agendas" from Congress.

Pelosi has been an enthusiastic supporter of the health care law, and notoriously said the bill had to be passed first in order to find out "what's in it."
