Filibuster flashback: Hillary tells the president to 'restrain' himself

If a president couldn't win over 60 senators to confirm of his nominations, then perhaps he should reconsider his nominee, Sen. Hillary Clinton insisted in 2005. "For a lifetime appointment," she added, "60 votes bringing together a consensus of senators from all regions of the country... means that perhaps that nominee shouldn't be on the federal bench."
