The Christmas Rendition of 'Hallelujah' That You'll Have on Repeat After Just One Listen
December 25, 2013
"That was utterly breathtaking."
A Christmas rendition of the popular song "Hallelujah" is making the rounds on the Internet this holiday season — and for good reason.
Originally uploaded in 2012, the official music video for "A Hallelujah Christmas" by Cloverton has been widely circulated this past week and has now achieved nearly 1 million views on YouTube.
The Christian band, composed of four members, altered the lyrics to Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" to transform it into a Christmas tune.
The song has since enjoyed rave reviews on the Internet.
"This was outstanding," one user commented on YouTube.
[sharequote align="center"]"[T]hat last verse made me cry a little."[/sharequote]
"[T]hat last verse made me cry a little," wrote another.
"That was utterly breathtaking," yet one more individual wrote. "Thank you for that."
