France’s Socialist President Appears to Be Really Bad at Shaking Hands -- See the Hilarious Pictures

French President François Hollande is a lot of things: a wealthy socialist, the country’s least popular president (ever!) and a lover of high taxes.

He also seems to be a terrible hand-shaker.

Indeed, based on a humorous photo collage from Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant, he doesn’t seem to have the timing down. Either that or world leaders simply aren’t interested in shaking his hand (although that's doubtful):

Now, one Twitter user points out the pictures could just be taken at bad times:

@TimMontgomerie @SamCoatesTimes @JamesTapsfield I'm sure they immediately shook hands every time. Photos only capture instances, not events.

That's possible. But it's also possible Hollande picks the worst times to extend his palm.
