From a White House pool report on Vice President Joe Biden and Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx's remarks on national infrastructure investment, which took place Thursday in Philadelphia at an Amtrak train station:
Biden and Foxx arrived on Platform F at 12:50 p.m. and were given a tour of a new Amtrak "cities sprinter" locomotive by Amtrak locomotive engineer Rick Stolnis, of West Goshen, Pa., and Amtrak Chief of Operations Christopher Jagodzinski. Biden and Foxx entered the gray, blue and red locomotive and Biden announced, "I'm ready to roll."He sat in the right seat of the two-seat cab as Stolnis described the controls. Biden put his hand on the controls. After 15 minutes in the two cabs at both ends of locomotive, Biden and Foxx went upstairs to address a waiting crowd.
