Just Released Surveillance Video Shows Principal Allegedly Dragging Kindergarten Students

Surveillance videos released to the public this week appear to show a principal dragging two young students down a Connecticut elementary school's hallways.

According to WVIT-TV, the videos depict Tisdale School principal Carmen Perez Dickson dragging two kindergartners through the halls on different occasions in the Spring of 2012.

The Board of Education reportedly investigated the incident, later opting not to fire Dickson in Oct. 2013, but instead suspend her for six-months. She will reportedly be returning back from her suspension next month, but not in the capacity as principal.

Nevertheless, at least one schools administrator says she should have been fired for her actions.

"The board did not exactly agree with us, so the action that was taken was not what we recommended," said Sandra Kase, the chief administrative office for Bridgeport Schools. "If I saw the same evidence and saw the same video today, we'd support the same recommendation we made at the time."

Dicson's attorney, however, said her client's actions did not violate Board of Education policy guidelines, WVIT-TV reported.
