Ted Cruz Reveals What He Really Thinks About Rand Paul

Despite a growing media narrative that Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.) are inevitable enemies as two potential 2016 presidential candidates, Cruz told TheBlaze’s Dana Loesch on her radio show Wednesday that he has nothing but “love” for his colleague.

“I love Rand Paul. He is a good friend, he is a powerful voice for liberty and I am proud to stand with Rand,” he said.

Cruz also discussed the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, school choice and the epic Ted Cruz street art popping up across the country.

“The administration has so badly bungled Ukraine and so badly bungled foreign policy for the last five years,” Cruz said. “Putin’s aggression, his act of war against Ukraine, is a direct consequence of the lack of U.S. leadership over the last five years.”

He argued that countries like Russia, Iran and China have stepped up to gain influence as the United States’ influence has “receded.”
