What do you get when you introduce a 13-foot American crocodile named Big Boy with a new GoPro camera? A stunning view that no person would ever want to see first hand … and a dead GoPro camera.
Yes, that's a line of teeth. (Image source: YouTube)
Chris Madden with Everglades Outpost Wildlife Rescue in Homestead, Fla., thought he would get unique underwater footage of the croc with his new camera, and he did, but the camera didn't survive. Big Boy chomped right through the lens, flooding the electronics. The footage, however, did make it.

"I was just trying to get some underwater shots of him and as soon as the camera touched the water near him, he went berserk as you can see," Madden told WPLG-TV. "As soon as anything touches the water, he is in and looking to do some damage."

Madden added that he was thankful the camera was covered under a return policy, but when he took it back to the store he learned it had a crocodile warranty. Whether that warranty is a real thing, Madden received a replacement and told WPLG he "seriously [doubts] that they will let me do it again."
