Authorities say the Florida man, who is accused of running a rental scam, hurled a bucket of urine on a county inspector Monday.
Siegel, 44, was arrested and now faces 19 felony charges of scheme to defraud, as well as an extra felony charge of battery on a code inspector, according to WWSB-TV.
He is currently in jail on a $55,000 bond.
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office says the 44-year-old advertised a rental property as a 12-bedroom home, when in fact it has just five bedrooms. Detectives identified 19 victims who paid over $53,000 to rent the house, which the county says also has several code violations, WWSB reported.
When a code inspector approached the home Monday, Siegel allegedly threw a bucket of urine on the man.
Earlier this year, Siegel's neighbor stole a news van after the reporter set up a camera in front of the rental property with an aim at exposing the alleged scam.
