Glenn Beck would probably be among the first to admit that his political beliefs — and his love of ice cream — make him an outsider in Hollywood.
So imagine his surprise Wednesday when he heard that the supermodel on the cover of the June issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, 28-year-old Chrissy Teigen, said Beck would be one of a handful of guests at her "fantasy" dinner.
Asked to respond to the question, "Here's who I'd invite to my fantasy celebrity dinner," Teigen listed Anthony Bourdain, Angelina Jolie, Suri Cruise and Glenn Beck.
The wife of nine-time Grammy Award winner John Legend, the swimsuit model included no explanation for her choice in guests.
Here's a close up of the question, via Cosmopolitan:
Beck's radio co-hosts, Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere, were at a loss to explain why "one of the world's leading supermodels" would want to have dinner with Beck.
"First of all, her husband is liberal, right?" Gray asked. "He's a big Obama supporter, John Legend?"
"She's definitely not conservative," Burguiere confirmed, noting that Teigen went on a lengthy Twitter rant before the 2012 presidential election in which she cursed at women who wanted to vote for Mitt Romney.
Still, Beck couldn't resist gloating that a supermodel said she wants to take him to dinner.
"The truth is, and I mean this sincerely, women practically throw themselves at me," Beck joked. "The hotter they are, the harder they throw themselves at me."
But Burguiere expressed confidence that "later on today, or tomorrow, she's going to come out and say how much she hates your guts and she never wanted to talk to you."
One of Teigen's tweets from 2011 would indicate Burguiere may be correct in his prediction. Roughly three years ago, Teigen made it very clear how she feels about Beck:
Beck laughed and said he doesn't "give a flying crap" whether the model hates him or not, but he'll enjoy being able to gloat over his co-hosts "while it lasts."
