Video Shows One of Woman's Worst Nightmares Involving Her New Car and a Train Coming True

Kristen Taylor had only recently purchased her car; her first payment for it is next week. Unfortunately, the car was totaled earlier this week. But when you see why, you'll understand that the woman is probably just thankful to be alive.

On its first day of paid service Monday, after beginning to carry passengers earlier this month free of charge, the SunRail train through Central Florida came upon its first major snag. Taylor's black Infinity sedan was stalled on the tracks when the gates closed down around her, signaling the oncoming train.

She told WKMG-TV she was having trouble getting it started again with its push start button. When she realized she was out of time, Taylor fled from the vehicle just moments before it was hit by the commuter train.

As she ran, she was hit by some flying debris.

A video inside the train showed the conductor frantically trying to stop the vehicle after it rounded a corner.

Taylor had non-life-threatening injuries and no passengers on the train were hurt. She told the news station she wasn't trying to beat the train and maintained she didn't hear any warning bells, acknowledging that her music was loud, before getting stuck on the tracks.
