Conservative radio host Mark Levin called out Fox News contributor Karl Rove during an appearance on “Cavuto” Thursday, seemingly making host Neil Cavuto a tad uncomfortable.
However, the response certainly isn’t a surprise coming from Levin, who has been extremely critical of Rove and many establishment Republicans. His comments came after Cavuto asked about struggling GOP candidates who are backed by "mainstream Republicans."
“Here’s the big lie that’s going on for election cycle after election cycle, advanced by, among others, Fox favorite Karl Rove,” Levin said. “The fact of the matter is we’ve lost the Senate over and over again not because of Todd Akin, not because of two or three or four tea party candidates. The vast majority of candidates running are your Republican establishment candidates who’ve never had to fight in a Republican primary.”
When Levin took the swing at Rove, Cavuto simply smiled and softly shook his head.
“Alright, listen I’ll arrange the next dinner party for you and Karl Rove,” Cavuto joked. “In the meantime I’ve got to run upstairs and talk to my bosses.”
He concluded the segment by pointing out that Levin "calls it like he feels it."
