One Look at Her Mugshot and You Can Probably Guess What She's Accused of Stealing

“No one [expletive] saw me steal anything."

Rule #1: If you're looking to spice up your eyeshadow routine, there are more than a few legal ways to get the look you're going for.

But Brandy Allen allegedly had something less law-abiding in mind during a Labor Day trip to an Ulta store in Fayetteville, Arkansas, reported KFSM-TV in Fort Smith, citing a police report.

Rule #2: If you're looking to lift makeup, it might be a good idea to avoid grabbing handfuls of it — apparently without checking labels or prices.

The store manager who called police said she noticed Allen hard at work while a person she walked into the store with acted as a decoy, asking store employees questions and leading them away from Allen, KSFM noted, citing the police report.

Rule #3: If you're trying to make the purloined eye shadow appear used by running your fingers through the tips, don't do so right in front of the cop standing and the store manager who just asked to see the contents of your purse.

But that's what the 31-year-old suspect did, according to the report, fumbling through her purse for several minutes before pulling out several items in question, KSFM said.

Rule #4: Don't curse loudly as your caper is crumbling.

According to the report, Allen said, “No one [expletive] saw me steal anything,” KSFM noted, adding that she fired off two more salty words to describe her circumstances.

The report added that several customers and young children noticed Allen’s expletives.

Rule #5: When the store manager identifies red eyeliner in your purse she just helped you pick out, it doesn't help your case to insist it's yours and then break it in half (again with the cop standing right there).

At that point Allen was taken into custody on suspicion of stealing $144 worth of eye shadow and faces charges of shoplifting and disorderly conduct, the station said, citing the report.
