"Holy Moly! What an experience!"
New video posted online this week shows a filmmaker dive into an active volcano and capture incredible close-up footage, offering viewers a front-row seat to the active site.
The video, taken by Sam Cossman and George Kourounis, features the Marum Crater, a 2,000-year-old active volcano in the Republic of Vanuatu, according to The Daily Dot.
The journey was captured on film with GoPro cameras and has amassed nearly 200,000 views since it was published to Vimeo Thursday. Receiving rave reviews online, the video was fittingly titled "Diving Into an Active Volcano."
"Holy Moly!" one individual commented on Vimeo. "What an experience!"
"Amazing," echoed another.
