Lone Survivor' Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell Just Issued a Challenge to Famous MMA Fighter

"See you on the 9th."

Former Navy SEAL and “Lone Survivor” author Marcus Luttrell challenged retired MMA fighter Randy Couture to a push-up competition for charity in Las Vegas next month.

The competition will benefit the Boot Campaign, a non-profit group that helps military veterans deal with the challenges they face upon returning home.

“Hey Randy, it’s Marcus. Me and a bunch of my guys who are going to be in Vegas on October 9 challenge you to a push-up competition to raise money for charity and the Boot Campaign,” Luttrell says in a video posted on Facebook Friday. “See you on the 9th.”

According to the Boot Campaign’s Facebook page, the non-profit was “started by five hard-working professional women who spend their spare time volunteering with the Boot Campaign, which they founded in 2009.”

“After reading the book Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell, they were humbled by what those in military service endure, providing them the freedom to pursue their own professional careers. With that in mind, they formed the Boot Campaign to give back to our military personnel and their families,” the description adds.
