"We don't know your name, but we are connected by this tragedy."
That is the opening line of a video letter from the children of Charlie Vacca, written to the young girl who unintentionally took their father's life just three weeks ago.

Vacca, a 39-year-old firearms instructor was killed when a 9-year-old girl accidentally shot him while he was teaching her how to fire an Uzi submachine gun.
In the video, posted online by the Vacca family attorney (with their mother sitting behind them), the children take turns reading from the letter. They share a few thoughts about their dad and impart some beautiful sentiments and advice to the girl they have not met.
