When You See the Address on the Front of a Letter Sent to Lindsey Graham, It's a Little Surprising It Ever Reached His Office
September 30, 2014
"We recieved a letter today from HI..."
How many of us have made a mistake while addressing a letter, only to get it back with the dreaded "return to sender" stamp on the front? One person in Hawaii who sent a letter to Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) surprisingly didn't get to experience that -- despite what they wrote on the front of the envelope.
Caroline Wren, Graham's finance director, sent out a picture on Twitter showing the letter. On the front, instead of a street address, the sender wrote:
Senator Lindsey Graham
Wherever [undecipherable] is located
South Carolina, USA

And the office got it. Hey, whatever works!
