Former President George W. Bush will be hitting the golf course Thursday, scheduled to deliver remarks at the fourth annual Warrior Open golf tournament near Dallas, Texas.

The 36-hole tournament, taking place at the Las Colinas Country Club, opened Wednesday and is aimed at honoring members of the U.S. military.

"We will crown a champion," Bush said ahead of his address in a short statement posted online.

Photographs posted online show the former president at the tournament, which began Wednesday, posing with individuals who have sacrificed while serving their country.

According to it’s website, the event also “heralds the many effective organizations that give their time, talents and resources to support the men and women of our military and their families.”
