See the Sign This 'Duck Dynasty' Star Is Holding? It Reveals Some Major Personal News

"God has truly blessed us."

Sadie Robertson has captured a plethora of attention with her recent performances on "Dancing With the Stars," but her brother John Luke is also in the limelight after revealing some major personal news on Saturday.

John Luke, son of Willie and Korie Robertson, proposed to Mary Kate McEacharn Saturday — his girlfriend of seven months — as he was gathered with family to celebrate his 19th birthday, according to USA Today.

The reality TV star released a statement after his engagement, noting that his parents, too, married young and expressed his excitement over what's to come.

"I am so excited to marry my best friend. I know my parents married young as well, and they have always been examples of what 'could be' to me," he told E! News on Sunday. "Fast-forward 22 years and they are more in love than ever, and I hope Mary Kate and I are the same way in the years to come. God has truly blessed us."

A photo posted to McEacharn's Instagram account shows John Luke holding a sign that reads "Future Mrs. Robertson," with the bride-to-be showing off her engagement ring. A caption reads: "Happy Birthday to the boy I'm going to marry."
