Mercury One Announces New Partnership With Well-Known Online Retailer

"Malice towards none and charity for all.”

Well-known online retailer Overstock.com on Monday announced an exciting, long-term partnership with Mercury One, the charity founded by Glenn Beck.

From today forward, Overstock will donate a percentage of the proceeds from purchases made at www.overstock.com/m1 to Mercury One, similar to the way Amazon has partnered with the charity.

Mercury One LogoWhen users shop at the website, they experience the same service and access to all the same products they find at overstock.com. There is no additional cost to them -- Overstock will simply donate a percentage of the final purchase price price to Mercury One.

Mercury One's mission statement is “to inspire, organize and mobilize individuals to improve the human condition physically, emotionally and spiritually with malice towards none and charity for all.”

After Superstorm Sandy, Mercury One was one of the first to reach the Coney Island community to offer help. The charity raised more than $1 million after tornadoes tore through Moore, Oklahoma in 2013, and supports The Lone Survivor Foundation among other noble causes.

Many of its efforts aren't publicized. The charity has been tireless in its efforts to help Israeli soldiers and families throughout the past year, providing hundreds of thousands of dollars in relief.

Users can find almost anything at Overstock.com, from jewelry to automobiles, furniture to insurance. But donations are only made from purchases made at www.overstock.com/m1, so if you want to contribute, be sure to bookmark the page.

"I just want to thank them publicly for this," Beck said on his radio program Monday. "We're just thrilled. Overstock has been an amazing partner for us, and I will tell you that Overstock sees the world in much the same way [we do]. I'm not talking about who they voted for or anything else. I'm just saying they see the freedom scale the same way we do. They believe in the individual entrepreneur, they believe in people being left alone and do the right thing. They trust people will do the right thing."
