Caller Shares Horrific Story on Glenn Beck's Radio Program

"We go back to find out he's been a serial rapist the whole 40 years."

A caller in to Glenn Beck's radio program Monday said the sexual assault allegations against comedian Bill Cosby struck a chord with her because of her personal history with rape and assault.

"Me and my sister, 40 years ago, were raped and sexually assaulted when we were little girls," said the caller, identified as Jodie from Montana. "We told people and no one would listen. No one came to help us. No one did a thing."

Beck and his co-hosts had been discussing the resurfaced rape allegations against Bill Cosby. If Cosby is guilty, they said, they hope he is held responsible, but also cautioned against trying Cosby in the "court of public opinion," saying it is extraordinarily difficult to gather evidence from crimes that happened decades ago.

But Jodie said that in her case, the situation was set right 40 years later.

"Forty years later they find out -- we go back to find out he's been a serial rapist the whole 40 years," she said. "We finally get justice because in the state of Wyoming, where there's no statute of limitations."

Beck's co-host, Pat Gray asked: "Was this by a family member, or someone the family knew?"

"It was a family member," Jodie said. "I mean, a lot of his victims were family, but he went outside the family eventually. He ran out of family members."

Jodie said she and her sister had to move in with family when they were young, and "dealt with weird s**t" for two years." They tried telling people what was happening, but nobody did anything, she said.

Jodie said eventually they were able to move back in with their birth mother. They disappeared so suddenly, she said, that she later found out there were neighborhood rumors that they had been "murdered and buried out in the hills around Wyoming."

Beck asked whether the man was eventually held accountable for his long list of crimes, and Jodie said he was sentenced to 100 years in jail.
